Introduction

Legislation around discrimination is an area of law that is constantly changing so keeping up to date is essential.

The event in detail

This workshop will review developments in discrimination in general, including the Equality Bill, and then look at the protection given to persons with particular characteristics especially sex, race, age and disability. This will include discrimination by association and the new liability for harassment by third parties together with the problems in identifying the right comparator.

Olga Aikin CBE LLB Chartered FCIPD has a unique reputation for combining legal application with the sound knowledge of UK and EU law. She writes regularly for People Management and other legal and management journals and appears on TV and speaks on radio on subjects related to employment law.
